Resting ECG: A Snapshot of Your Heart's Electrical Activity

One of the fundamental tests we utilise is the Resting Electrocardiogram (ECG). This non-invasive procedure provides valuable insights into your heart's electrical activity, helping our medical professionals assess your cardiac function and detect potential abnormalities.

During a Resting ECG, small electrodes are placed on specific areas of your chest, arms, and legs. These electrodes detect your heart’s electrical signals and transmit them to a recording device. The ECG machine then produces a graphical representation, known as an electrocardiogram, which displays the electrical activity of your heart.
